Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

History is littered with hundreds of conflicts over the future of a community, group, location or business that were "resolved" when one of the parties stepped ahead and destroyed what was there. With the original point of contention destroyed, the debates would fall to the wayside. Archive Team believes that by duplicated condemned data, the conversation and debate can continue, as well as the richness and insight gained by keeping the materials. Our projects have ranged in size from a single volunteer downloading the data to a small-but-critical site, to over 100 volunteers stepping forward to acquire terabytes of user-created data to save for future generations.

The main site for Archive Team is at archiveteam.org and contains up to the date information on various projects, manifestos, plans and walkthroughs.

This collection contains the output of many Archive Team projects, both ongoing and completed. Thanks to the generous providing of disk space by the Internet Archive, multi-terabyte datasets can be made available, as well as in use by the Wayback Machine, providing a path back to lost websites and work.

Our collection has grown to the point of having sub-collections for the type of data we acquire. If you are seeking to browse the contents of these collections, the Wayback Machine is the best first stop. Otherwise, you are free to dig into the stacks to see what you may find.

The Archive Team Panic Downloads are full pulldowns of currently extant websites, meant to serve as emergency backups for needed sites that are in danger of closing, or which will be missed dearly if suddenly lost due to hard drive crashes or server failures.

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Blue Cursor.

The Application is a GPS tracking app for assets and vehicles.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

All data that we collect is used solely for providing a service to you. In particular:

• We do not sell, share or otherwise disclose your data to anyone;

• We do not mine your data for patterns;

• We do not use your data to target ads;

• We do not access your location data without your permission.

Information that we collect on registration

We collect the bare minimum

• Full name and address - used for billing and invoicing;

• E-mail - used for notifying our users of changes in service and for resetting forgotten passwords;

Information that we collect on when using the application

We collect data related to your device:

• Device name

• Operating system

• IP address

• HTTP requests - as most web services, we maintain logs of all incoming HTTP requests. Web logs contain IP addresses, requested URLs, referral URLs, and other similar attributes provided by your browser.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The permission to access device location is optional, when you request to have your location displayed on the map, the app request permission to access device location.

Device location is not transmitted or collected or stored anywhere, it’s only displayed locally on the application.

Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We have taken further steps to prevent unauthorized access to your data, including running firewall software and keeping our servers up-to-date with security patches. That said, we cannot guarantee nondisclosure of personal information due to factors beyond our control. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, please contact us as soon as possible.

Security measures are applied to keep your data safe. By running firewalls and keeping server up to date with latest security patches. And applying multiple mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access to your account.

All data communications are handled with Https. Which is the standard for secure communication over internet.

We use Token-based authentication to authenticate with the server, confidential data like password are used only one for initial authentication.

Confidential data like the password for your account are one way encrypted, makes it impossible to decrypt the data.

During account creation, collected data is encrypted using one way encryption algorithm and being saved to database. One way encryption makes impossible to decrypt data.

Data retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Once it is no longer needed it is deleted automatically.
